Isager Merilin

Isager Merilin is a 3-ply/light fingering weight yarn made from 80% wool and 20% linen.
As the yarn is 3-ply it works really well in textured patterns. It is a very soft yarn and can be used by many who are otherwise allergic to wool. The linen fibre places itself smoothly over the wool and this gives a lovely melé effect to the yarn, as the linen does not absorb the wool dye. The yarn works well in children’s garments.
Things to Note:
- Each skein of Merilin contains 50 g of yarn and has a length of approximately 208 m.
- The recommended needle size is 3 mm.
- The knit tension is 26 stitches and 30 rows per 10 cm.
