The Ashford e-Drum Carder 72 PPSI 30 CM makes fibre preparation easy. This carder is has two exceptionally powerful motos to enable fleece and sliver to be carded easily and quickly.

It has infinitely variable speed control for both the drums plus a ratio control to vary the in-feed speed.

Things to Note:

  • The e-Drum Carder is only available online. If you would like to see one in person, we can special order it for you and have it in store within a week. If you need spare parts, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we can order them.
  • The e-Drum Carder has an acrylic safety cover over the drums and the drive belts. It also has a magnetic safety switch.
  • It has stepped tooth non-slip drive belts with belt tensioners.
  • It has an additional on/off foot switch which allows for hands-free fibre preparation.
  • When in reverse, for fibre removal, the drums rotate at 10% carding speed.
  • The carding drums can be removed to clean the bearings.
  • It is manufactured in silver beech hardwood with a lacquered finish.
