A Yarn Odyssey: Winter 2025
The Little Yarn Store's 2025 Yarn Odyssey will explore yarn and literature from around the world.
For Winter 2025, we have been working with Walk Collection to create a custom colourway inspired by the book, Kairos, by Jenny Erpenbeck. The colours are inspired by the German painting "Coloured Forms I" by August Macke.
We will be offering 100 gram hanks in a range of colours in Walk Collection's Tough Sock base. There will also be a special edition set of minis. To go with the yarn we will have a German sock pattern suggestion for both knitters and crocheters.
For knitters, we suggest a sock pattern from DUCATHI. Catharina Duden is a German sock designer with a wide range of patterns. We personally love the Tuck Shorties or the Hazel Shorties.
For crocheters, we suggest the Magdalen Socks by Vicki Brown.
The yarn will be shipped at the beginning of June and the book club will be in July. Please see the listing here to book.
